Bruce aka Xochitl or Xoxi, the deuteragonist of Valentina and Bruce.Bruce was 28 years old at his debut in "magical dog years," and ages throughout the series, though he rarely acts mature. It is inferred that magical dogs have a lifespan similar to Humans, as demonstrated by Valentina Valerito in "Valentina's New Dog." Then again, how exactly magical dog years correlate to human years remains to be seen, although both Allie and Bruce were shown to be babies around the same time, showing that they age slightly faster, however, his age as of "Valentina The Unconventional" suggests that it slows down to the rate of human's aging at some point.
Appearance[]
Bruce can morph into all sorts of fantastic shapes with his powers, but typically takes the form of an average sized aztec style black dog. He has sharp teeth within his mouth, along with a long pink tongue. A short tail cuts out from his rear.
Personality[]
Throughout the course of the tv series,Bruce is depicted as a character that is unlikable to many people except Allie, due to his macabre and gory behavior. It is interesting to note that Carmelo Hidalgo,Doleres Hidalgo and Rodney Fernandez who are averse to Bruce and describe him as "ugly and deformed," while Allie and Abriela Fernandez who do love him and describe him as "cute and fluffy."Despite his temper tantrums, Bruce can sometimes have a little common sense and be more mature than Allie.
Trivia[]
- In a deleted scene of the pilot episode, Bruce was responsible for the death of his ex girlfriend's dog. This incident made him learn about the consequences of his evil actions and gain a better understanding of mortality.
- His favorite foods are coconut cake and coffee; however, whenever he drinks coffee, he gains a massive amount of uncontrollable energy.
- When Bruce goes crazy, his eyes turns red.
